The Dolores Bears lost against the Telluride Miners back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Dolores lost to Telluride at home by a decisive 48-29 margin. Dolores has not had much luck with Telluride recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Mark Palate was Dolores' leading scorer, having posted 14 points.
Trayton Traweek held things down on the boards with five rebounds.
Dolores' defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-6. As for Telluride, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Hopefully Crested Butte focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 back in December of 2023.
