There's no place like home for the Ramapo Raiders, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-43 victory over St. Mary on Sunday. That's another feather in the cap for Ramapo, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Ramapo's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryan Goldman led the charge by scoring 18 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Goldman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Seals, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.
Ramapo has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for St. Mary, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3.
Ramapo and Don Bosco Prep will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for St. Mary, they will head out on the road to square off against Becton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Becton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully St. Mary likes a good challenge.
