The Packinghouse Christian Academy Bears's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 75-46 loss at the hands of Redlands Adventist Academy. Packinghouse Christian Academy lost against Redlands Adventist Academy in their previous head to head back in February of 2016, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 70-43 score last time.
Redlands Adventist Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aidan Calhoun out in front who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jarron Sumadia, who scored 11 points along with nine steals and five rebounds.
Packinghouse Christian Academy bumped their record down to 6-6 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Redlands Adventist Academy, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Packinghouse Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Norton Science & Language Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 12th. Norton Science & Language Academy is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Redlands Adventist Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against River Springs Charter School Magnolia at 6:30 p.m. on January 11th.
