It's about time: Excelsior Charter finally caught a break after 3 consecutive losses. They put a hurting on New Designs Watts to the tune of 56-6. Excelsior Charter were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Excelsior Charter's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 40 points in the first half. New Designs Watts came up with 6 to make it 40-6 heading into the break. The Excelsior Charter defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the matchup. The win bumped their record up to 1-3. The defeat dropped New Designs Watts' record to 0-2.
Next week Excelsior Charter take on Linfield Christian at 7:00 PM. As for New Designs Watts, they will face off against La Canada.
