The All Saints Episcopal Trojans had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down King's Academy 55-39 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as All Saints Episcopal also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
All Saints Episcopal found their leader in underclassman Emerson Hadnot, who scored 17 points along with 9 rebounds. Sachit Basoor was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jared Hosch, who scored 18 points. Hosch scored a full 46.2% of King's Academy's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Everett Hollis, who scored 9 points along with 3 blocks.
All Saints Episcopal's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for King's Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
All Saints Episcopal will be playing at home against Cross Roads at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. King's Academy will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Tournament Opponent at 10:00 p.m. on December 1st.
