Carson Kotil Turns in Season-Best Performance
Crete was led to victory by Carson Kotil, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Kotil rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 37 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 86-yard run.
With the victory, Crete broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-6. Kotil will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Northwest on Friday.
