Northwestern picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 72-48 margin over the Central Cobras. The Bulls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 24 points or more this season.

Northwestern's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Calvin Russell Jr., who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jamiro Smith, who went 6 of 9 en route to 15 points.

When it comes to explaining why Central lost, don't look at Joseph Gayle. Despite the final result, he went 8 of 17 on his way to 24 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Maxon, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

Northwestern pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.
