After soaring to 56 points the game before, the Caney Creek Panthers were a bit more limited in their match on Friday. Their tough 46-22 loss to College Park might stick with them for a while. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Caney Creek in their matchups with College Park: they've now lost four in a row.
Caney Creek's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Yeiry Zamudio, who scored eight points. That was a full 36.4% of Caney Creek's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Emily Garcia was another key contributor, scoring three points along with five rebounds and two steals.
