The New Underwood Tigers suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 48-14 loss at the hands of Philip. New Underwood has not had much luck with Philip recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Philip got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Drew Terkildsen out in front who scored seven points along with eight steals and five assists. Terkildsen is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Mattisen Reckling, who scored ten points along with five steals.
New Underwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Philip, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-4.
New Underwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Kadoka at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Philip, they will head out on the road to challenge Wall at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wall is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
