The Slidell Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 23 points or more this season. They breezed by L.W. Higgins at home to the tune of 67-34. That 67-34 margin sets a new team best for Slidell this season.
It was another big night for Mike Parlow, who scored 24 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Slidell's points. The team also got some help courtesy of James Chaney, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Slidell's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for L.W. Higgins, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Slidell will be home for the holidays to greet Salmen at 7:10 p.m. on Friday. L.W. Higgins will take on Abramson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
