The Yulee Hornets's four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 51-37 victory over Middleburg.
Yulee can attribute much of their success to Christopher Lemon, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Ace Walker, who scored nine points.
The victory got Yulee back to even at 7-7. As for Middleburg, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-2.
Yulee will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Kenny at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middleburg, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th. Trinity Christian Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.2 points per game.
