There's no place like home for Meade, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Ashland Blue Jays on Tuesday. The Buffaloes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Jays, too.

Meade never let Ashland on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-17.

Kenadie Alexander paced Meade's offense, picking up eight kills. Alexander got some help from Sayler Stapleton and her 19 assists. Alexander also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jaylee Eckhoff, racking up three apiece.

Meade has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Ashland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9-1 record this season.

Meade has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against St. John on the 16th. As for Ashland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Kiowa County on the 16th.
