Lake Central extended their winning streak to 21 on Tuesday, bumping them up to 21-0. Everything went their way against the Chesterton Trojans as they made off with a 12-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 20 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Madi Wainwright, who fired off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Iwema, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Lake Central lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chesterton didn't launched any.
