The T.R. Miller Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Pace Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. T.R. Miller's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Pace's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
T.R. Miller proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by eight) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Gulf Breeze 3-1.

Ollie Billingsley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, T.R. Miller's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Allison Reeves, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Pace had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Panthers an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Milton's batters probably weren't too happy with Hannah DeMarcus, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 11 Ks (she gave up three walks).
On the hitting side, Pace let Gracie Ueberroth and Britten Kettler run wild. Ueberroth scored a run while going 2-for-5, while Kettler scored a run while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits Kettler has posted since back in February.
Pace kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive matchups.
Pace pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for T.R. Miller, their record now sits at 13-11-1.
T.R. Miller might still be hurting after the 8-1 loss they got from Pace when the teams last played back in March. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
