The Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Tuesday after their fourth straight  defeat. They took a serious blow against Archbishop Stepinac, falling  90-50. Mt. St. Michael Academy has not had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
 Archbishop Stepinac found their leader in underclassman  Jasiah Jervis, who  scored 13 points along with eight  rebounds and five  assists. Another player making a difference was  Hassan Koureissi, who  scored 11 points along with six  assists and two  steals.
 Mt. St. Michael Academy has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost five of their last six matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Archbishop Stepinac, the  win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. St. Michael Academy will take on the Ravens at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. St. Raymond Boys presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Mountaineers in New York (the Ravens are ranked second, while the Mountaineers are ranked 290th). As for Archbishop Stepinac, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against the Royals at 7:00  p.m. Christ the King has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 339 points over their last five matches.
