Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Mt. Zion was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .375 or higher in five consecutive contests.
Riverdale pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Mt. Zion, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.
