Mt. Abraham lost to Colchester back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Mt. Abraham Eagles enjoyed a cozy 51-33 win over the Colchester Lakers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Mt. Abraham is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.6 points per game. As for Colchester, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Abraham will welcome Middlebury at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Middlebury will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Mt. Abraham surely won't give up without a fight.
