Several Pirates players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Savina Wells, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Wells scored a full 34.7% of Fernandina Beach's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Naslynn Morris was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
Bishop Snyder had a senior duo take command as Asya Jones scored 19 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals and Tara Crews scored 15 points along with 3 steals. The matchup was Jones' seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Carolyn Caldwell, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds.
Fernandina Beach now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Bishop Snyder, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.
