Calvary Baptist Academy lost against the Blair County Christian Bobcats back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The matchup between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Calvary Baptist Academy falling 49-35. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Blair County Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Micaiah Marucci, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Marucci has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathan Marucci, who scored 15 points along with five steals.
Calvary Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Blair County Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Calvary Baptist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Blair County Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Johnstown Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnstown Christian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
