Desert Edge barely beat Copper Canyon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Scorpions were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Aztecs on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Scorpions in their matchups with the Aztecs: they've now won five in a row.
Christian Waldera looked comfortable as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Centennial, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Alhambra by a score of 8-3 on Tuesday. The Coyotes' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
