Riverton Parke waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 15-6 margin over the North Vermillion Falcons. With that victory, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.6 runs per game.

Derek Collom made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Collom was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. He also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season.

In other batting news, Eli Roberts was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Collett Sanders was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Riverton Parke was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in three consecutive games.

Riverton Parke's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for North Vermillion, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
