Clinton is 0-6 against Atkins since March of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Yellowjackets will host the Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. Clinton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.
Atkins' hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Monday: Clinton hadn't allowed a single run the last four times they've hit the field. The Yellowjackets never let Marshall get on the board and left with a 21-0 win on Friday. Considering the Yellowjackets have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Sarah Parish made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Kaelyn Lasley was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Aliviah Johnson, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Clinton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .806. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Atkins, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Dardanelle 5-3. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Sand Lizards recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Clinton's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Atkins, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
