The Bishop's Knights will be taking part in a tournament against the Mayfield Cubs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bishop's is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Mayfield's offense. They came up short against Mission Bay on Friday, falling 10-0. The Cubs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Mayfield's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Bishop's, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Mayfield's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bishop's has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11 hits per game. It's a different story for Mayfield, though, as they've been averaging 12.2 hits. Given Bishop's sizable advantage in that area, the Cubs will need to find a way to close that gap.
