Softball Recap: Lake Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Lake came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Rossford Bulldogs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-4. Considering the Flyers have won 14 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lake's win bumped their record up to 25-3. As for Rossford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 16 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Lake has already played their next game, a 10-9 victory against Clyde on the 24th. As for Rossford, they will square off against Fostoria at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Redmen at the right time seeing as the Redmen are stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
