With a playoff win on the line, Corvian Community rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Mountain Heritage Cougars by a score of 28-19. The win was just business as usual for the Cardinals, who after 15 games remain undefeated this season.

Quinn's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards. Mountain Heritage also got a significant boost from Cason Jones, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.
Corvian Community pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Mountain Heritage, their loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-1.
Corvian Community and Tarboro will compete for holiday cheer at 3:00 p.m. on December 21st. Both have allowed few points on average, (Tarboro: 8.3, Corvian Community: 8.5) so any points scored will be well earned. Mountain Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
