The Arrowhead Warhawks can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Wednesday. They breezed by Mukwonago at home to the tune of 61-16. The victory was familiar territory for Arrowhead who now have six in a row.
Arrowhead's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natlie Kussow, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Kussow is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Libby Gilmore was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Arrowhead pushed their record up to 14-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Mukwonago, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.
Arrowhead will head out on the road to take on Nazareth Academy at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mukwonago, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Waukesha North at 7:00 p.m.
