The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pinconning in their matchups with Valley Lutheran: they've now lost seven in a row.
It was another big night for Elijah Wolter, who scored 19 points along with two steals for Valley Lutheran. That makes it three consecutive games in which Wolter has scored at least a third of Valley Lutheran's points. Carter Rauschert was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
Pinconning's loss dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Valley Lutheran, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinconning will take on Clare at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Michigan (Clare is ranked 297th, while Pinconning is ranked 300th). As for Valley Lutheran, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Nouvel Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Valley Lutheran focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Tuesday.
