The Houston Mustangs extended their postseason success on Friday against the Brentwood Bruins. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bruins 28-0 on the road. Houston is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 11 straight.
Damon Sisa was his usual excellent self, rushing for 148 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Chandler Day, who threw for 191 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Houston has yet to lose a matchup on the road this season, leaving them with a 12-2 record. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.4 points. As for Brentwood, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-1.
Houston is on the road again on December 2nd and play against Oakland at 7:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Oakland is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Brentwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
