Boyer Valley's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Exira-EHK Spartans 15-5. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

Boyer Valley's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6. As for Exira-EHK, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boyer Valley will face off against Coon Rapids-Bayard at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Exira-EHK, they will head out on the road to challenge Glidden-Ralston at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.25 runs per game on average), something the Spartans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
