Batton Posts Huge Game in 50-0 Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Markeylin Batton stepped things up a notch to give Atlanta the 'W'. Sabine had no answer to Batton as he rushed for 33 yards and two touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown. Batton is becoming a predictor of Atlanta's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Unfortunately for Sabine, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Batton. Batton rushed for 155 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 104 receiving yards the last time he and the Cardinals duked it out back in October of 2023.
