After a string of seven wins, Seton Catholic's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Northwest Christian Crusaders by a score of 6-4.
Brooke Zuluaga was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). In other batting news, Scarlett Olivares made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one triple and one RBI. That triple was her first of the season.
