Basketball Recap: Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South Skates Past International High School at Largo with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 106-7 victory over the International High School at Largo Sea Turtles. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Sea Turtles, too.

Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South was led to victory by Lincoln Nelson and Jordan Exton. Nelson posted 14 points and five steals, while Exton put up 14 points and three blocks. The dominant performance also gave Exton a new career-high in assists (four). Kori Langshaw was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South was working as a unit and finished the game with 30 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for International High School at Largo, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
