Kaneland waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Plano Reapers. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by seven runs or more this season.

Kaneland pushed their record up to 24-9 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Plano, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-21.

Looking ahead, Kaneland will be playing in front of their home fans against Wheaton Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Plano, they will square off against LaSalle-Peru at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
