The West Grand Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by De Beque 59-17. West Grand was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-10.
They used a three-pronged attack on offense:

Stran Lechman posted four points each.
De Beque's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jace Graham led the charge by scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Graham hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Burke Largent, who scored 15 points along with six steals.
West Grand bumped their record down to 1-7 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for De Beque, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
West Grand will head out on the road to take on North Park at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (North Park is ranked 317th, while West Grand is ranked 324th). As for De Beque, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Soroco at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Soroco and De Beque are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
