Make it 14 blowout wins for the Lake Travis Cavaliers this season. They blew past Austin 65-43. Winning may never get old, but Lake Travis sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Lake Travis got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayden Thomas out in front who scored 16 points. Adrian Mathis was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with three steals.
Lake Travis has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season. As for Austin, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-20.
Lake Travis will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bowie is on a three-game streak of home wins, the Cavaliers a eight-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Austin will take on the Cardinals at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Texas (Del Valle is ranked 577th, while the Maroons are ranked 582nd).
