Florala won the last time they faced Pleasant Home and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 12-2 victory. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by ten runs or more this season.

Jacob Laura was incredible, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennith Dalton Jackson, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Florala always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pleasant Home only posted an OBP of .250.

Florala pushed their record up to 13-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Pleasant Home, Emmanuel Christian, and Emmanuel Christian. As for the Eagles, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Florala wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against Kinston on the 8th. As for Pleasant Home, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 21-3 victory against Emmanuel Christian on the 8th.
