The Hagerstown Tigers will challenge the Cowan Blackhawks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hagerstown is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
Hagerstown's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Rushville 6-0. Considering the Tigers have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Not much got past Rylan Young, who gave up just six hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Rushville off the board. Young has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Allison Stinson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jerycha Allred, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Meanwhile, Cowan came up short against Union City on Thursday and fell 10-7. The Blackhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Madison Norris was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Bowling, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.
Hagerstown's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Cowan, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.
Hagerstown's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's match. The Tigers have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Cowan, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Hagerstown continue to outrun the ball?
Hagerstown was able to grind out a solid victory over Cowan in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 11-7. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Blackhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
