The Sherman Tide can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Hannan 61-33 at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sherman also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Despite the loss, Hannan still got an impressive performance from Philip Fugett, who scored 15 points.
The win got Sherman back to even at 4-4. As for Hannan, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sherman will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hannan at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Hannan won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Ignite Athletics at 7:00 p.m. on January 13th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in West Virginia (Ignite Athletics is ranked 125th, while Hannan is ranked 114th).
