Alemany and Bishop Amat played the closest game in Serra this week, with Alemany eventually emerging with a 29-26 victory.
Notre Dame led the league in scoring this week after putting up 41 points on Crespi. Grant Kraemer threw for 112 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for 24 yards in the win.
The Celts' dynamic duo of Conor McMahan and Torrance Brumfield proved tough for the Knights to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. McMahan threw for 240 yards and 4 touchdowns and Brumfield had 90 yards receiving. Matthew Jacques helped Crespi's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 66 yards.
He went 20-27 with 3 interceptions.
Chris Colarossi was a beast in the backfield as Notre Dame topped Crespi.
The Lancers' Koa Haynes and Brandon Arconado led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Haynes has thrown for 2,151 yards this season, while Arconado has 37 catches for 555 yards. Colarossi from kevin rooney's team leads the league in rushing with 1,177 yards.
The Knights' offense has racked up 311 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Loyola has allowed only 181 on the year.
An important game coming up in Serra this week will be when Notre Dame takes on the Cubs. The Knights are in second place, while Loyola is in fourth place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Notre Dame takes on Marvin Sanders' team. The Knights have allowed 205 points this season, while the Cubs have given up 181. Notre Dame allowed 27 points last week as it bested Troy Thomas' team.
Haynes broke off the longest rushing play in the league this week with a 54-yard run against the Warriors. Haynes closed out the game, recording 88 yards on the ground as Bishop Amat lost to Alemany.
