They came out on top against Pen Argyl by a score of 50-38. That's another feather in the cap for Wilson Area, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
When it comes to explaining why Pen Argyl lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ethan Holland. Despite the final result, he scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Holland has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jack Mclaughlin, who scored two points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Wilson Area's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Pen Argyl, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-15.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Moravian Academy the next time they take the court. Pen Argyl will host Moravian Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday, while Wilson Area will host them at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday.
