Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Neshaminy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Abington Galloping Ghosts 48-6. With the Skins ahead 35-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
It was another big night for Michael Eckart, who threw for 251 yards and five touchdowns while completing 94.1% of his passes. Carter Clee helped Eckart out on the ground, rushing for 101 yards and one score on only 14 carries, while also picking up 47 receiving yards.
Neshaminy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Carson Schneider and Malakhi Fox. Fox got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Neshaminy pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.7 points over those games. As for Abington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
