Not much got past Sierra Albright, who gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks to keep Susquenita off the board. Albright has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Kailey Eckert was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in May. Addisyn Burns was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Not much got past Jamie Dinger, who gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Mid Valley off the board.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Callee Leffler, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Another player making a difference was Addison Zimmerman, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Bald Eagle Area pushed their record up to 22-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.1 runs on average over those games. As for Pine Grove, their record is now 26-2.
Both Bald Eagle Area and Pine Grove just can't seem to miss. The Eagles have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.9 hits per game. However, it's not like Pine Grove struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bald Eagle Area couldn't quite get it done against Pine Grove in their previous meeting back in June of 2019 as they fell 7-3. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
