Westville will challenge Dwight/Gardner-South Wilmington on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Westville had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-33 punch to the gut against Central A & M last Friday. Westville were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.
Meanwhile, Dwight/Gardner-South Wilmington couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They suffered a grim 7-28 defeat to Marquette last week.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
