HOHENWALD, Tenn. -
Lewis County (Hohenwald, Tenn.) snapped the four-game winning streak of
Camden Central (Camden, Tenn.), with a 32-20 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Christian Vick touchdown run in the second quarter, the Panthers led 16-6 at the half.
Lewis County expanded its lead to 20 points entering the fourth quarter. LC scored two times in the third, including once on a
Lucas Graham touchdown run.
With the win the Hohenwald school extended its winning streak to 12 games. Lewis County defeated Fairley 41-0 last week.
The Lions came in giving up 17.6 points per game this season. Camden Central had a hard time against Lewis County's offense, who entered the game scoring 39.3 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Camden Central, which notched a 35-13 victory over Manassas in its previous outing.
