Mali Barker ran for two touchdowns and
Daniel Smith added two as well as
Tuscarora (Leesburg, Va.) defeated Loudoun County (Leesburg, Va.) 48-14 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Smith touchdown run in the second quarter, the Huskies were up 28-7 at the half.
Tuscarora expanded its lead to 27 points entering the fourth quarter. THS scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by
Josh Middleton.
With the win the Huskies extended their winning streak to six games. Tuscarora defeated Heritage 35-7 last week.
Coming into the game Tuscarora had allowed 18.0 points per game this year.
THS avenged last year's 30-21 loss to the Raiders with the victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Loudoun County, which notched a 27-3 victory over Park View in its previous outing.
