Newark Catholic strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Green Wave also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Layla Jones paced Newark Catholic's offense, picking up nine kills. Jones got some help from Sydney Gummer and her 18 assists. Natalie Harrington controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
