After a string of eight wins, Enterprise's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the San Juan Broncos by a score of 3-2. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Broncos earlier this season, when they won 3-2.
Enterprise took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 22-25, 25-27, 26-24, 15-12.
Kenidie Fowler paced Enterprise's offense, picking up 21 kills. Fowler got some help from Oaklee Allan and her 31 assists. Finally, Jaycee Barlow kept Enterprise's defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.
Enterprise's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 15-5. As for San Juan, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.
