The Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Carolina Academy 67-14 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Blue Ridge sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Leading Blue Ridge to victory were Zikira henderson and Anyah Henderson. henderson scored 19 points along with six assists and five rebounds, while Henderson scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Henderson has scored all season. Claire Skinner was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Blue Ridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. As for Carolina Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-16.
Blue Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chapman will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Fighting Tigers are ranked 22nd). As for Carolina Academy, they will head out on the road to take on the Centurions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Broome focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Friday.
