Centennial came into Saturday's matchup having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They claimed a resounding 76-49 win over the Assumption Royals. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cougars have posted since December 30, 2024.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Assumption, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Centennial Cougars duke it out with the Spring Lake Park Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spring Lake Park knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 games -- so hopefully Centennial likes a good challenge. As for Assumption, they will welcome Adams-Friendship at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
