Air Academy is 1-9 against Lewis-Palmer since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Kadets will take on the Rangers at 6:00 p.m.

Air Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-24, 25-16.
Air Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Shelbe Lyons, who had 15 digs and three assists, and Jiselle Rodriquez, who had 13 assists and eight digs.
Meanwhile, Lewis-Palmer waltzed into their match on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bears.
Lewis-Palmer not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Palmer Ridge between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-19.
Air Academy better focus on containing Olivia Ivall and Cady Knight as the pair were huge in Lewis-Palmer's win. Ivall had six digs and two aces, while Knight had 18 digs. Knight is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 15 games she's played.
Air Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Lewis-Palmer, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's contest: Air Academy has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.1 aces per game. However, it's not like Lewis-Palmer struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.2 aces.
